About Us

The Wilmington Farmers Market Association is a group of volunteers dedicated to bringing a farmers market to our town every summer. The Market was started in 2010 and continues to grow each year. 

The  Market is located on the Town Common across from Swain Green at 140 Middlesex Ave.  See below for a map and directions.

Our Mission Statement
  • To provide a place where community members can purchase fresh produce directly from local New England Farmers.
  • To provide a diverse and interesting selection of locally grown fruits and vegetables, and locally produced goods. 
  • To educate our community about the importance of sustainable agriculture.
  • To partner with local organizations such as the library, area health centers and fitness organizations to promote education about healthy eating. 
  • To provide a self-sustaining social experience and to foster a sense of community in Wilmington.
Are you interested in volunteering?
Each week, we are in need of Market volunteers to assist with the kids craft table, as well as various other tasks such as set up and break down. This is a great opportunity for students to gain service hours to fulfill graduation requirements.  Additionally, if you are looking to make a larger contribution of your time, please CONTACT US about working together with our Board of Directors.
