Become a Vendor

We are now welcoming vendors for the 2024 season! Please review the following requirements before applying to be a Vendor at the Wilmington Farmers Market:
  • Vendors must be food-related, essential products such as sanitizer/cleaner-type products, and/or handmade artisan items. 
  • All vendors must carry a $2M aggregate insurance policy that covers $1M per occurrence and names "Wilmington Farmers Market Association" as an additional insured - no exceptions.
  • Food vendors must have a Temporary Food Permit issued from the Town of Wilmington's Board of Health Department
  • Vendors can opt to have the ability to accept pre-orders from customers either online or by phone/email in order to expedite the customer's shopping experience on site at the market.
  • Vendors must be up to date on weekly payments by the Monday prior to the market they are participating in to be included in the weekly marketing post

Paperwork
Along with submitting the online application below, please also fill out and submit the Marketing Form and accepting/sign the 2024 Market Policies Form below. A link to the Board of Health Temporary Food Permit application is also located below for your convenience. It is the vendor's responsibility to submit this form to the Town for final approval.

    I have received (available above) and read the Wilmington Farmers Market Policies and agree to abide by them. It is the responsibility of the owner of the business to advise the employees of all rules and regulations, and expected behavior.  To the best of my knowledge all information presented in this application is accurate and truthful. Falsification of information may lead to revocation of being a vendor. Failure to complete any section and include necessary documentation via mail may lead to non-acceptance. Vendor status is non- transferable and may be revoked for violation of the market rules. By signing this application, you affirm that you are an authorized representative of applicant and that you and your company agree to adhere to all market rules and procedures.
    Each vendor must also email a copy of your Certificate of Liability Insurance with Wilmington Farmers Market as an Additional Insured to: [email protected].
    Vendor fees must be paid online before the Market each week, or in advance. See payment options below.
Vendor Fees
​​Complete vendor payments online, using the convenient payment buttons below, which will bring you to PayPal. You can either pay with your own PayPal account, or with a Debit/Credit Card. 
Payment options include:
  • Vendors that pay for the full season (18 weeks) in advance by May 26 will pay a rate of $25 per week for a total of $450
  • Vendors that pay for a partial season (9 to 18 weeks) in advance by May 26 will pay a rate of $30 per week
  • Vendors that would like to pay week to week must do so online by the Monday prior to the Market your are attending to be included in our weekly marketing post, and no later than 48 hours prior to the Market opening and will pay a rate of $35 per week.
